Role overview
The main purpose of the Senior Manager Higher Education is to develop the British Council’s portfolio of programmes and services in Higher Education in Brazil, engaging with UK and Brazilian higher education institutions, and relevant players in ministries, governmental agencies and representative bodies.
Selected candidate will assist in developing British Council’s higher education strategy in Brazil, taking into account the priorities and policies of the UK and Brazilian sectors and the opportunities in strengthening ties and developing partnerships between the two countries. H/She will also manage stakeholder engagement, implementation and reporting of the British Council-administered Newton Fund projects in Brazil, overseeing direct and indirect delivery and reporting of a range of programmes.
