- Position Title: Administrative Assistant – All Interested Applicants;
- Open Period: 11/24/2020 – 12/08/2020;
- Salary: BRL R$76.906;
- Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Duties
Provides secretarial and administrative support to General Services Office (GSO) in order to ensure that services are provided in an effective manner and clients receive the highest level of customer service. Is Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for school bus and other small contracts.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements
Progressively responsible administrative work such as secretary, administrative assistant or quality customer service relations is required.
Education
A minimum of two years of college or university studies required.

Language
- Fluent reading, writing, speaking in English is required;
- Fluent reading, writing, speaking in Portuguese is required.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent human relations skills required;
- Ability to work independently on a daily basis without close supervision;
- Must be well organized, display excellent verbal and written skills and readily adapt to an environment of consistently changing situations and customer needs;
- Must be able to deal with senior officials and high-level professionals;
- Ability to organize work and set priorities for a busy office;
- Ability to handle a variety of administrative functions including setting up and maintaining office files and other record systems and monitoring and assuring completion of action assignments;
- Ability to work under tight deadlines;
- Familiar with Excel, Word, Power Point and SharePoint.
Qualifications
All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications.

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Brasilia, Brazil may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits. For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office. The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
