About the job
The role of the jobholder is to track and report on the latest foreign policy developments in Brazil and in Latin America, working with teams across the embassy and providing advice to senior leaders.
Requirements
- Hold a university degree or two years of relevant work experience;
- IT skills: MS Word and Excel;
- Fluent in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
- Interest and understanding of International and Multilateral Organisations is desirable;
- Competencies: proactivity, interpersonal relations, organization and making effective decisions.
Responsibilities
- Provide analysis, advice and support to the Foreign Policy and political team;
- Contribute to and lead briefings and wider research pieces;
- Identify and manage key stakeholders, internally and externally, including setting-up meetings;
- Assist in the organization of programmes and events for HMA, senior embassy staff and other visitors;
- Supply administrative and surge support to the whole political team, including managing travel and updating the team’s contacts database.
