About the job
The Corporate Services Officer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Australian Embassy in Brasilia through the delivery of consular, passport, notarial and some financial and record keeping services.
Requirements
- Have functional experience in a related field, such as human resources, finance, property or client services;
- Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications;
- Written and oral communication skills in English and Portuguese;
- This role requires a driver’s licence or ability to obtain one;
Responsibilities
- Provide a range of passport and notarial services;
- Draft updates to consular content and resources;
- Project cable recommendations for accreditation of host country representatives to Australia;
- Supply administrative support for finance services including accounts receivable and (non-ICT) assets, including creation, disposal and stocktake;
- Accomplish record keeping services, including Note Verbale register;
- Undertake simple procurement and purchasing exercises and acquit corporate credit card in accordance with departmental guidelines and support more complex procurement;
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders and represent the Corporate Services Team at internal meetings;
- Provide advice to the Corporate Services Team and Senior Corporate Services Officer on relevant departments;
- Answer and respond to straightforward telephone and email enquiries;

- Salary: BRL 6,134 – 6,638 per month;
