Job Description
The Wavesights Account Executive is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with existing clients while identifying new prospects and developing new business opportunities in the assigned territory. The Account Executive will be responsible for growing software sales and consulting services to both new and existing clients in support of the overall strategic and business objectives of ABS Wavesight.
The Account Executive will also be responsible for the preparation and delivery of software demos in support of sales to existing customers as well as sales to prospective customers.
The Account Executive will need to be highly motivated, self-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment to be successful in this critical role at Wavesight.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and execute a business plan that achieves annual sales goals and positions Wavesight as an industry leader by offering value-added products and support services.
- Demonstrate an understanding of clients’ business while aligning
- Wavesight products and service offerings to meet customers’ business needs.
- Master the Wavesight software and display an ability to understand customer business problems and show/explain system solutions in a persuasive manner.
- Foster a Team Selling Environment to work with other team members to bring together the necessary Wavesight resources to develop comprehensive solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Continually develop new prospects and opportunities to build a project pipeline.
- Develop account plans for existing clients to identify new business opportunities for Wavesight products and enhanced support services.
- Stay current on market conditions, client needs, and competitor strategies within the industry to ensure Wavesight is in a position to succeed.
- Leverages internal relationships with the Bureau and ABS Group to help create more sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate customer information within Dynamics about contacts, leads, opportunities, and pipelines.
- Manage existing client relationships, including issue escalation, accounts receivable, and new business opportunities.
- Should have a working knowledge of consultative selling and solution-selling methodologies.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required;

English and Spanish (Must have)

Requires a minimum of three (5) years of sales or account management experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to converse with prospects at all levels, including executive or owner level
- Working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Dynamics CRM
- Proven proficiency and experience in generating proposals and commercial contract negotiation are essential
- Must be able to travel frequently to visit clients and prospects in
- South and Central America..
- Working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management System.
