Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:

Experience in management, financial transactions, administrative support or facility management is required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge of management and administrative operations. Knowledge of the local environment, local business practices, local employment law, culture and customs within Brazil. Good knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) SharePoint, Outlook, and applications of common use.

Education Requirements:

College or University degree in the fields of Administration/Business, Communication, International Relations, Logistics or Financial is required.

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE: 

Level IV (Fluent) written and spoken English is required. (This may be tested)

Level IV (Fluent) written and spoken Portuguese is required. (This may be tested)

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

Excellent interpersonal skills.  Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, organization and planning skills for time management and project management.  Ability to organize information and obtain data for the preparation of management reports. Must be self-motivated and proactive. Must demonstrated ability to deal effectively with customer questions, concerns and complaints. Ability to prepare translations in both English and Portuguese and vice versa.

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Belo Horizonte may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
