Main responsibilities:
- Drive cultural change by leading key HR systems for the Plant, such as: Employee Labor Relations, Compensation and Benefits, Ethics & Compliance, Culture (security and 3rd party relations) and Services&Solutions for HR (such as payroll).
- Act as coach and HR strategic partner for the middle and high management of the Plant
- Support the adoption of new systems and people platforms across the Organization
- Hands-on execution of organizational processes
The role sits within the Manaus Manufacturing Site which is located in Amazonas, Brazil. The role would have direct reports and work directly with upward leaders in the site plus other national and international locations.

Candidate Skills and Qualifications:
You will ideally be a dynamic HR professional with an ability to build the trust, confidence and credibility of key business leaders, line managers, employees and the wider HR team. You will need to demonstrate the following:
- Proven track record of developing and executing HR strategy to support business goals in short and long terms.
- Experience of successfully developing organizations, both teams and individuals.
- Knowledge of Brazil employment legislation.
- Important to have a demonstrable experience in successfully managing changes to employment and the employee relations issues arising from these changes.
- It is desirable to have knowledge in Union and Collective agreements negotiations.
- People skills that enable effective collaboration between all levels of the organization. “Can-do” Attitude.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and urgencies.
- Professional communication and presentation skills with ability to explain and articulate complex topics clearly to influence outcomes.
- Solid experience in Human Resources Management, with at least a couple of years working in a strategic role.
- A college degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s, preferably with some business focus).
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Spanish is desirable but not requested.
