THE AES TRAINEE PROGRAM AIMS TO DEVELOP AND TRAIN FUTURE LEADERS OF THE ORGANIZATION.

We look for talented young people who bring purposeful innovation to our business by supporting and influencing strategic decisions to accelerate a safer and greener energy future. By investing in accelerated development through technical and behavioral abilities, our goal is to train professionals with a systemic and strategic vision.

The trainee at AES will be responsible for high impact projects that bring significant results to the company, as well as contributing with up-to-date academic knowledge and act as a change agent. The program lasts 2 years with rotations in different areas every 6 months to ensure that the professional gains a broader knowledge of the organization and the particularities of the energy market. At each rotation, the trainee must deliver a strategic project developed with the support of a technical tutor and the leader of the area.

In addition, the trainees will have a mentor who will support their journey during the program and help them reflect on experiences, opportunities, behavior and career aspects, for personal and professional growth.
