About the job
As a member of the political section of the Embassy, you will be involved in political, economic analysis and reporting. Moreover, you will be part of the team managing the embassy’s strategic sector collaborations between Danish and Brazilian authorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in International Relations, Political Sciences, Economics or related;
- A postgraduate degree is highly desirable;
- At least three years of relevant work experience;
- Proven excellent spoken and written Portuguese and English;
- Solid Microsoft Office knowledge;
- Ability to identify, analyse and communicate political and economic developments in Brazil areas;
- Competencies: pro-active, open-minded, flexible and able to adapt to changes.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and report on political, social and economic developments and mayor events in
Brazil; - Arrange, participate and report on meetings with relevant local and international stakeholders;
- Prepare visits by Danish delegations to Brazil and vice versa;
- Support the strategic sector co-operations between Danish and Brazilian authorities within sustainable energy, health, intellectual property and digital government, supporting the posted staff sent out in these areas;
- Support Danish companies activities in Brazil across a number of sectors and including sustainable value chains.

- Working hours: 40 hours per week;
- A health insurance scheme is offered as part of the compensation;
