Canada is internationally recognized as a country that delivers the highest standards of education, and UBC is no exception. Every student who applies to UBC must meet general admission and degree-specific requirements.
The online application for UBC’s Vancouver and Okanagan campuses opens early September and closes on January 15. The application deadline for Summer Session (May to August) is January 15. However, applications will remain open for Visiting, Unclassified, and Access Studies applicants. Admissions decisions for most degrees are made in April or early May.
GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS (BRAZIL)
Graduation from a university-preparatory program at a senior secondary school:
- Certificado de Ensino Médio. Certificates must be official. Photocopies are acceptable if certified by school principal, head, or counsellor. Certificates must be in a sealed school envelope. Notarized copies are not acceptable.
- Results for one of the following standardized tests: ENEM, Vestibular, SAT
Admission average calculated on final year academic courses/exams:
- Grades required for admission will vary by program. Evaluation is based on your Ensino Médio record and standardized test results.
